The House of Blues Radio Hour is a weekly syndicated radio show hosted by Elwood Blues (a.k.a. Joe 'Guitar' Hughes' career spans nearly 50 years and this, his 6th release, promises to introduce the Houston guitar legend to a wider audience. Growing up in Texas among other guitar-greats, such as Johnny Copeland, Albert Collins and Johnny 'Guitar' Watson, Hughes learned to develop a crisp, concise playing style. That, along with his warm vocals and genial stage presence have long been familiar with Texas audiences.
